Good place to stop for a quick bite! It's in a convenient location within a large strip mall with lots of parking, but it's a very busy area. The oysters are fresh and about $4 per oyster; which is normally priced. Although the lobster roll is also fresh, it's pretty small, and half of the lobster roll is not stuffed with lobster, so it's mostly bread. I would pass on the clam chowder, there's nothing special about it. There's lots of outdoor seating and it's a nice convenient location.

What a great place to stop and have lunch in our Malibu wine, food, and beach tour! Our tour guide Gavin clearly knew what was up because this place was fire! You order at the register and then your name is called to pick up at the window. This spot was busy and we still got our food quickly! I got the warm with butter lobster roll, raw oysters, and Bloody Mary cocktail. All were delicious. They serve their raw oysters with a balsamic-like sauce, which is a bit different than how I typically have them since I'm from New Orleans! It was cool to see how oysters are done differently on opposite coasts. There is plenty of out door seating covered by a tent which was perfect for a sunny day. 10/10 would go here again!

Wow we LOVED Broad Street Oyster Co!! Our first time visiting Malibu and we saw how busy this location was. Had to stop by since we saw the outdoor seating and the great ambiance. We got the Caesar salad, old bay fries, lobster roll with butter, and the captain's catch. Caesar salad and old bay fries were awesome! 10/10, would've been good to put more anchovies or chop them up to distribute the saltiness. I'm sorry, but the lobster roll was a 5/10 on taste and 2/10 on value. I will have to try their other options like the crab roll or ceviche next time. Now the star of the show, the captain's catch!!! The leeks the potatoes the sauce oh my! Delicious in every way. No notes at all. Wish we ordered two!! Great deal for how fresh and great quality it is. Also have to commend the staff. The cashier accidentally charged us for a hard lemonade when we got a normal and when we let them know they refunded us instantly which we really appreciate. We live closer to the HB location so we are hoping it lives up to its name! Thanks for a great meal!!

This place is where it's at! Good costumer service and food was phenomenal! My 2nd time visiting this place to get my lobster roll sandwich and uni pasta fix and it never fails!!! I leave 2 hrs away from this place and it's always so worth the drive! I give it 10/10 everytime!

Definitely I'll go back again with my family soon! Location is good cuz we can go eat first and then either go hiking or hangout on the beach after meals.....or buy something to go and enjoy their delicious foods to wherever you goooooo! So recommend this restaurant...don't wait....just goooooo!!!

Seafood, wine, proximity to the ocean--what more could you ask for? Broad Street Oyster Company has made quite the splash, opening up multiple locations throughout SoCal. However, I wanted my first time to be at its inaugural location in Malibu. Our order consisted of the following: Lobster Roll with Uni (4.5/5): Oof, this lobster would have been a 5 out of 5, had it not been smaller than average in size compared to other lobsters rolls I've had. The lobster itself was fresh and succulent, and though the uni is a nice-to-have, not all that necessary to elevate it by much. Oysters (5/5): Delicious, fresh and briny! I loved that they included a variety of oysters to try with their own distinct flavors. Linguini & Clams (5/5): This was a bit of a sleeper for me, as my husband was the one who chose this. But I'm glad we ordered this dish because not only was it delicious with its fresh, garlicky broth and unexpected hit of heat from the Calabrian chilis. The ambiance is friendly, casual, similar to what you'd find in a local beach shack, though not quite located on the beach but rather inside a shopping plaza. Despite its popularity, the service is friendly and efficient. While quantity-wise, the lobster roll could be better, all of the other seafood offerings are well worth the visit!

Saturday, July 20th was my second time at Broad Street Oyster Company (the first time was right before my engagement in 2021!), and my experience did not disappoint. We ordered the following for me, my husband and sister (prices as of July 2024): +++2 Lobster Roll Warm w/ Butter $25 --This comes with Maine lobster, butter, salt, and chives on a brioche bun. This was good!! They were generous with the lobster pieces, which tasted fresh and not overly cooked or tough. The rolls were on the heavier side due to the warm butter, so it was a cheat meal kind of thing, lol. +++Lobster Bisque with Maine lobster, brandy, and cream - Bowl $13 -- SoOo rich and creamy. They are skimpy on the lobster, I believe I only found like one piece at the very bottom of the 'bowl.' However, the bisque had a flavorful seafood broth that was smooth and ultra-creamy. It is on the heavier side, so keep that in mind. +++Linguine & Clams w/ Calabrian chiles $33 --This had a great flavor that was lemony, clammy (not in a bad way), and garlicky with some flavor-packed tomatoes. Some of the clams did have a little bit of sand, so keep that in mind, but the dish was delicious, and I still enjoyed it. +++French Fries $6 -- Comes with old bay aioli. These were GOOD! I don't know why but they were fried to perfection with the just the right amount of crips and flavor. These with some ketchup hit the spot and I couldn't stop reaching for more. +++Lemonade $6 - Freshly Squeezed -- Refreshing! I believe ours was a strawberry lemonade. Kind of sad that the cup was so small for me and my husband to share. It was not overly sweet, not too tart, and hit the spot. Seating: First come, first serve kind of seating. We were able to reserve some bench tables with a covering outside for our party of 11. Fortunately, a large family was leaving, so we were able to reserve three bench tables, and we were able to sit next to each other. Tip: Since this place can get packed and the line gets extra long, it's best to come right when the store opens or come for an early dinner. We arrived at around 5:00 PM, so it was before the dinner rush. You can also order online, which may help the ordering process go by easier! https://www.broadstreetoyster.com/s/order All in all, great experience. The food is definitely on the pricier side, but they were all delicious, and I had a wonderful time with my friends and family! I would come back next time.

The absolute best lobster rolls, fresh & very generous. WE LOVE BROADSTREET! BEST seafood & swrvice!
